The Talent Evening of the Vilnius University (VU) community, which has become a tradition, was held in the theater hall of VU on March 30th. The event, which usually took place in November, was included in the VU 443 Birthday events series this year.
All members of the VU community – both working and studying at the university – were traditionally invited to participate in the event. Talents from various fields could participate: singers, musicians, acrobats, poets, artists – the organizers requested applications from anyone who wanted to have their talent appreciated.
In the evening of talents, 18 performers were delighted with their performances, including three students of Šiauliai Academy of Vilnius University. Micheal Adente, a student of the regional development and management study programme from Nigeria, Giedrė Krasauskaitė, a student of the music pedegogy study programme and Alma Laužonytė, a doctoral student in the field of educational sciences, shared their talents with the Vilnius University community.
We are glad that Alma Laužonytė, phD student at Šiauliai Academy of Vilnius University, won the Talent Evening, who impressed the audience with the recited verses. The third place was awarded by the commission to Micheal Adente, a student of the regional development and management study programme who played the saxophone. Congratulations to the students on their excellent performances!
