8th Congress of Baltic States SLTs‘
SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY ACROSS THE AGE SPAN

Congress aim – to bring together researchers, practitioners and students to discuss about the relevant issues of profession across the human age span providing practical guidelines for speech and language therapists to enable them focus on evidence-based speech and language therapy.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The topic of the 2022 year Speech and Language Therapy across the Age Span is confirmed as relevant by European Speech and Language Therapy Association (ESLA). Following this topic, Baltic States Associations of Speech and Language Therapists (Lithuanian and Latvian Logopedists’ Associations, Estonian Union of Logopedists’) in collaboration with Vytautas Magnus University Education Academy (Kaunas) and Vilnius University Siauliai Academy (Siauliai) is organising the 8th Congress of Baltic States SLT’s.
The main issues of SLT will be discussed in the plenary sessions of the Congress:
- professional, educational and cultural contexts of speech nad language therapy;
- speech and language therapy in early age;
- speech and language therapy in pre-school age;
- speech and language therapy in school age;
- speech and language therapy in adulthood;
- speech and language therapy in geriatrics.
Congress languages: English (with simultaneous translation to Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian) Note: congress translation into national languages fees are covered by Latvian, Estonian and Lithuanian associations. Congress venue: online Zoom platform (the link will be sent few days before the event) |
